CR Construction has completed the construction works of One Hennessy for developer Chinachem Group, and the commercial building has commenced operation. One Hennessy and CR Construction were featured in the latest issue of the PRC Magazine (Issue 98; Jun/Jul 2019), a magazine for building professionals, with cover titled “Dramatic inverted structure pushes the limited of design”.
Constructing a single 150-meter high office building with an inverted pyramid structure at its core, the team had to operate in a crowded working space with limited site access for five months of temporary works where space was so limited that finding room for tools and machinery was logistically challenging for this unique building form. The article explains how the team has addressed challenges during the construction process due to great complexity of the One Hennessy project, enabling readers to view the Grade A commercial property from another perspective.
