The 2017 Annual Staff Meeting and Commendation Ceremony has been held on 2 February 2018. The Secretary of Party Committee of Overseas Business Department of Zhejiang Construction Investment Group, Mr. Zhang Mingzhi, and the General Manager Assistant and Office Director of Overseas Business Department, Mr. Wang Zhengxiang, have attended the event with over 700 staff.

The event was started by a video clip of the 50thanniversary of the company to review the company's milestones, classic projects and effort on team building. The Managing Director, Mr. KY Li, then presented the overall performance of the company in 2017, and the Chairman, Mr. Guan Manyu, credited colleagues for their hard work in the past year. Mr. Zhang also addressed the meeting and affirmed the company's achievements in 2017, and wishes the company to have breakthroughs and growth in the coming future.

In the rewarding session, the team of the Sub –Structure and Superstructure for the Proposed China Unicom (Hong Kong) Global Centre (Main Contract), who were awarded the Overseas Luban Prize, the team of the Proposed Office Development at No. 1 Hennessy Road, who won the Temporary Works Excellence Award – Silver in the Construction Safety Week 2017, and the team of the Construction of Pak Tin Estate Redevelopment Phase 9 (Pak Tin Community Complex), who were awarded the Safety Culture Award in the 16th Hong Kong Occupational Safety & Health Award, have been praised for their effort.

The meeting has also issued long-term service awards to employees who have been contributing to the company for 10 years, 15 years, 20 years and 30 years respectively. As a recognition, teams and colleagues who have shown excellent performance in the past year have been acknowledged, including the Best Project Management Team, Best Civilized Construction Team, Best Team Performance Department, Volunteer Award, Outstanding Mainland Employee Award, New Employee Award, and Outstanding Staff Award. The company hopes this can be motivation for good performance and a means to enhance colleagues' sense of belonging to the company.
