On 29 November 2020, CR Construction Company Limited was awarded the Main Contract Works for Centralized General Research Laboratory Complex (Block 2) at Area 39 of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. The project involved the construction of a 7-storey Laboratory Complex including associated site formation, foundation works, superstructure works, fitting out works, E&M installation works, external works and landscaping works. The total construction area is 23,987 m². It is expected the project will be commenced in early January 2022.
