On 22 September 2022, CR Construction was awarded a Main Contract for the construction of Physical Sciences and Technologies Building (New Research Building 1) for the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. The site is located at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. This work generally comprises the construction of site formation, foundation and superstructure works for an 8-storey Physical Sciences and Technologies Building in about 9414 m2 construction area including associated building services installation works, external works,  landscaping works and demolition works. The construction period is 794 days. The project is scheduled to commence at the end of September 2022 and be completed by early December 2024.
