CR BIM Manager Mr. Han Kaibin, delivered a presentation themed "Scan to BIM – A SMART Approach for As-Built BIM Model Production Reduce via EdgeWise" at the ConTech Accelerator – Demonstration Day. The ConTech Accelerator programme, co-organised by Construction Industry Council (CIC) and Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP), aims to expedite the trial and adoption of construction technology across the industry. We're honoured to be invited to introduce our project of HKSTP Building 6W on its As-Built BIM Model Production via EdgeWise.

HKSTP Building 6W was first of its kind of conversion of an entire office building to a full wet laboratory in Hong Kong. With the EdgeWise approach, the project has 3 important highlights as follows:

1. Create the as-built model for the complicated fume duct system

2. 50% of BIM models can be automatically generated from 3D Point Data

3. Increase the modeling speed by 60% compared with traditional modeling methods
